but ever since alice was born, i just can't get enough of them.

a couple of months ago, a friend introduced me to emily & her sister suzie. they are the owners behind, JELLY TOAST & JELLY TOAST KIDS. check them out at http://www.etsy.com/people/jellytoastkids, they have lots of cool stuff.

the best part about our owl friends, is that i was able to customize them. alice loves hot tea and purple and mr. wiggles loves, NO, LOVES, HEAVY MACHINES.

so meet HAZEL & HENRY.

each come with names and a short biography. hazel loves sugar cubes and collects vintage tee-shirts. while, henry loves finger painting and watching "This Old House."

alice brought home some yarn from school, she told me "gilbert has yarn!" "ok...who's gilbert??" i thought, but she was running out the door.

this afternoon, she went and got the yarn. out of the corner of my eye, i see alice dangling the yarn over our dog. i stopped and said "do you think lulu is a cat?" she said "yes!"

alice continues to say, "put our dogs away, i want a cat for 30 minutes"

A friend of mine turned our family on to this AMAZING ice cream.

all of her ice creams are made with ohio dairy from pasture raised cows. no antibiotics, growth hormones, herbicides or pesticides... cows eat grass, which their bodies were built to eat.

we have tried several flavors but, you MUST TRY: salty caramel- a perfect salty sweet balance (alice's favorite too)

Loco loves the 577 foundation in perrysburg because there is so much to do.

-feed the fish

-buy a book or two for $1

-play in the tunnel

-swing on the hammock

and run the grounds...RUN, RUN.

This is one of Alice & Mr. Wiggles favorite places too. If you have'nt been to "77" as my sprinkles call it, you should go. GO NOW, IT'S THE BEST!!
